Caramel Brulee sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp - 1/4 cup hot water (depending on how thin you want it)
  • 6 tbsp grassfed butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt

Directions

  • Melt sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally, it’ll take some time so be patient!!
  • Add hot water, the more water you add the more syrupy the sauce will be
  • Add butter and mix very well
  • Pour in heavy cream and mix again
  • Take it off heat and add vanilla and the smallest pinch of salt
  • Pour into a jar, let it cool and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks! The sauce will get thicker once it’s cooled 🫶🏼
